Coba Pueblo Maya
In one full day it is possible to visit a Mayan village, a spectacular cenote, and the archaeological site of Coba.
Visit a Mayan village to learn about and observe the daily routine of this ancient culture still very much alive today.
From there a short ride takes you to the site of Coba where a walk in the jungle will take you to the breathtaking pyramid of 'Nohoch Mul'; the highest pyramid in Yucatan. It is still possible to climb all 42m to the top.
Finish the tour with a refreshing swim in the crystal clear waters of a cenote surrounded by stalagmites and stalactites.
Lunch is a buffet in a typical restaurant where you can try some local Yucatan dishes.
We recommend you take with you: hat or cap, comfortable walking shoes, sweater for the bus, towel and bathing suit, biodegradabale sunscreen and insect repellent, extra money for shopping.
Please note: The distance from the entrance of the archaeological site to 'Nohoch Mul' pyramid is approx. 2.5km. You can choose to walk, or you may rent a bicycle or Mayan tricycle (not included in price).
Included in the excursion:
Transportation to and from hotel in mini van
Bilingual guide for the archaeological site
Entrance ticket to Coba site
Buffet lunch (not including drinks)
Entrance to the cenote
