Isla Contoy & Isla Mujeres

 

The island of Contoy is situated 30km north of Isla Mujeres (or "Island of Women"), where the Caribbean sea meets the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. There are around 152 different species of birds, crustaceans, rays, and fish which can be seen during the excursion making it a must for nature lovers!!!

 

After arriving in Cancun a confortable Catamaran will take you to a fantastic part of the coral reef close to the island where, accompanied by your guide, you will discover an underwater world full of color and biodiversity.

 

After snorkeling on the reef you will arrive at the magical island of Contoy, an uninhabited island covered almost completely by mangroves.

 

With your guide you will be able to admire the unique flora and fauna or relax on tranquil beach of powdery white sand while your buffet lunch is prepared for you on the island.

 

In the afternoon you will visit colourful and vibrant Isla Mujeres, just 7 km long, where you will have free time for shopping.

 

We recommend you take with you: hat or cap, sandals, bathing suit and towel, sweater for in the van, biodegradable sunscreen and insect repellent, extra money for shopping.
